Richard Walker joined AA after getting sober in the Oxford Group. His Twenty-Four Hours a Day, written while attending meetings in Daytona Beach, FL., is the prototype of recovery meditation books, the first book Hazelden ever published,and the best- selling AA-related book after the Big Book.
