Moments: An Evening with Bill W.

This is a one-man play about Bill W., Dr. Bob, and the story of AA. It begins with Bill arriving at the NYC event where he’s to deliver a talk and announcing the very sad news that Dr. Bob has just passed away. The date is November 16, 1950. Sixteen years sober at the time and just about to turn 55, Bill goes on to give the most complete account of the early days of our fellowship. It ends with Dr. Bob’s last words to him. The play was written by Bill McNiff and in this video is performed by him. The original production was performed by him at the one-year anniversary of the AA Kips Bay Group in Brooklyn, NY, in 1990.
